EYEGLASS SIDE PROTECTORS

At the College of Engineering, to enter lab or the machine shop, safety glasses were required to be worn. The only exception to this rule was if a student was wearing eyeglasses. This was a good exception for me since it allowed me to walk in and out of the machine shop with ease. The only downside to this however was that eyeglasses do not have side protectors to block debris. Due to this issue, I created custom side protectors specifically for my glasses using Solid Works. I designed them to be easily snapped on and off the sides of my glasses so that I would be able to quickly put them on when using tools or walking near people who were using tools.
